These specifics need to be discussed and planned based on drawings with the approved location of seams, edge moldings, carpet direction and accessories (adhesives, cushion, etc.). It will allow you to avoid any problems and keep you on the correct path to successful installation.

Research and select the best local carpet contractor for your budget. Review their testimonials online, interview the contractor and make sure they discuss all details prior to paying a down payment or signing a contract.
The contractor will need to make sure the surface is ready to install carpet, including confirmation of concrete moisture and alkali conditions, cleanliness, surface quality, and floor levelness.
The contractor must also set appropriate room temperatures 48 hours prior to installation (65 to 95 degrees) and provide ventilation during and 48 to 72 hours after installation.

The installation contractor must use qualified labor and specified tools and accessories; provide accuracy of measurement and coordinate with the general contractor on all applicable details, including the installation date, delivery, storage, security, and insurance.
Auburn Carpet takes great pride in our rug cleaning experience and results. Many area rugs, including “oriental” can be manufactured by hand and using very delicate materials, while some are machine made with synthetic materials. We will inspect your rugs and give you our recommendation of cleaning based on fiber content and construction.
If you are unsure, please give us a call and we are happy to come to your home to inspect and test if necessary. Some synthetic rugs can be cleaned on site, but we prefer to clean delicate items off site in a controlled environment to ensure proper care, cleaning and drying.
