Keep your home as sealed as possible during the pollen season to help keep contaminants and allergens out of your home. Also, change your furnace filter frequently, and check weather stripping around doors and windows. Use outdoor matts at entry points, and keep sidewalks and surfaces near entry’s washed off regularly.
Maintaining your yard can also make it easier to keep the pollen outdoors where it belongs. This time of year your pets that go outdoors may need baths regularly also. Vacuum regularly, and have your carpet, upholstery, area rugs, and tile floors professionally cleaned to remove pollen and allergens a typical vacuum may not.
